Married to
my current wife, Pat, since 1970. Three children, Louise, Stuart (named after
my good friend Stuart Brown from our year) and Joanna. All are in good shape
and Louise has produced two grandchildren, James and Alasdair, who are now 5
and 2. Still smoking away and none the worse for it. Doing as much travelling
as I can before my bad habits catch up with me. Have moved all the way from
Glasgow to Lenzie where we have lived now since 1975 but I am almost naturalised.
Have followed St Johnstone football club, home and away, since 1975 after I
watched them while skiving from a trainee conference. It is a football team
btw. This proves two things: the huge value of post graduate education and that
everyone should taste failure at some point.
