Personal Details
Since
graduating I have lived and worked in Leicester (now with thriving medical
school!). I have two married children in their 30's. My daughter Jo lives near
Ashby-de-la-Zouch and has two gorgeous daughters, Edie and Isla. My son Nick
lives in London. During the busy years as a working parent, I spent 12 years as
a school governor, including several as chairman. I have played golf
socially for many years - not always as frequently as I would have liked. I now
enjoy playing regularly but am still aiming for "Silver"I
Retirement
allows me to see more of my family and I enjoy doing a weekly "Granny
stint". Retirement also offers the luxury of a second cup of coffee at
breakfast (with crossword) and time to potter in the garden. I play
keyboard in a swing band which practices regularly, does a few gigs and is
great fun. I still have a season ticket for Leicester City and, for
balance, have added a season ticket for local theatre which (along with
the crossword) keeps the grey cells active. I enjoy catching up with friends
all round the country and am looking forward to seeing some old friends at
Dunblane.
