Career

Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

-Junior training in Glasgow, Central Scotland (Falkirk), and east of Scotland (Dundee).
-Appointed consultant in O&G in 1984 in Middlesbrough. Great job, great people, great place - really!

-Retired, more or less, 2009. Still occasional clinic if local needs require.

Personal Details

-Fan retired from teaching same day. Remains involved in medical research ethics (recent M.A. from Keele university), magistracy and university admissions.

-Two boys.

David Solicitor (and football agent!) in Leeds.

Alasdair Pharmacist (and until recent patellar tendon rupture, semi-professional rugby player) in Manchester/Liverpool.

-Health. Arthritis of various kinds makes for interesting times at airport security checks-all this metal! Really O.K. Back to golf, tennis, swimming and rugby - see photo of recent try against All Blacks at Murrayfield!
