After
Housejobs at Ruchill and Eastern District, JHO, Registrar in Anaesthesia at the Royal, off to Prince Albert Saskatchewan for 4yrs. of anaesthesia , emergency and
family medicine. 1yr Medical Resident in
Saskatoon then on to Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. 25yrs. with the Algoma
District Medical Group starting out Anaesthesia and Critical care with gradual
move to Chronic Pain Management then Sleep Disorder Medicine. I ran a Pain and
Sleep Disorders Clinic for many years starting before most thought there was
any connection. Lectured in various places on Pain Sleep Interactions
including Moscow just after the fall of the USSR and later Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).
An interesting if different career. Left Sault ste. Marie for Hamilton ON
for 2yrs. of Full Time Sleep Medicine but didn't take to Southern Ontario so
semi retired back to the Soo. Last 3-4yrs. Emergency Medicine about 20hrs.
a week. Still enjoying it for now. |
