Career
After
residencies at Stobhill and the Royal, I worked for a year in a Tanzanian
bush hospital. This was followed by an Obstetrics residency at Rottenrow and 3
years in General Practice in Greenock. In 1977 we decided to seek greener
pastures and emigrated to Australia. I worked for 4 years in a country general
practice and have been in my current position as a principal in General
Practice in the capital, Canberra, for the last 30 years. I enjoy my work and
have no thoughts of retirement in the near future. I used to practise
Obstetrics but Travel Medicine is my current interest.Canberra has been a great
place to live and bring up a family. |
