I married Catherine a week after graduating. We have 3 children -
Rebecca, James and Sam. The first 2 did Accountancy, got 1st Class
Honours degrees and became CA's. Rebecca is Deputy Finance Director of
St Andrews University, has a son, Cameron, and tries to get Academics to
justify their salaries. James works for Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong, has
a son, William, a daughter, Isla, and spends most of his time on
aeroplanes and wondering how to spend his salary. Sam did Journalism at
University, works for the Times and thinks Rupert Murdoch isn't all
bad. After 12 years of marriage, Catherine left me for her Bridge
partner. I had a difficult few years but then met and married the nicest
and prettiest of all my Residents. Alison is a GP in Ibrox and we have a
daughter, Rachel, who is in 3rd year Medicine at GU. I play golf and
5-a-side football and am an avid skier. I'm also a serial owner of
Japanese sports cars, currently a Honda S2000 and an NSX.
